Sadly, many of the democratic politicians are just as bought and paid for by their corporate sponsors as the republicans are. The only real difference is that the democrats at least want to hide it, while the republicans don't even bother with that, anymore. And I suppose there still may be some hope at least in the democrat's sense of shame. Certainly there is no shame among republicans, anymore. And no hope that they will ever care about anyone or anything but enriching themselves.

Interesting list but I am more interested in the plans they have to implement to achieve their stated goals. It is easy to pay lip service but it is far better in my mind to say "this we see as a problem and this is how we are going to fix it" then go from there.

The rich don't pay any taxes. There are just too many loop holes in the tax laws. I say we put in a flat rate tax system so the top 1% start paying their fair share. If the Democrats were smart, they would sell it as a tax cut on overall rates.

Not that much of your illegal immigration would be stopped by a wall, but far be it from me to put inconvenient facts in the whaargarrrbl.

After Hungary constructed a series of powerful border fences in response to the European migrant crisis, illegal immigration there declined by 99 percent; this should be a good indicator of how a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border will significantly reduce illegal immigration into the U.S. from Mexico.
