To be fair, they were prolly thinking (correctly) of me.That supporting liberal positions (such as LGBT rights, reproductive rights, etc.) must mean that I live on handouts.

Thank whomever that you posted this. I am a moderate which means it depends on the issue who I side with, liberal, or conservative. I have a friend who I love very much, so I won't name him. This happened at church, by the way, ugh. He is a conservative. Anyway, I was complaing about both parties and saying how I fall outside of the liberal and conservative spectrum, and he pointed out the sheep and goats judgment associated with our Christian faith. I won't get specific about it too much, but he was saying the sheep are on the right hand, and the goats are on the left. Talk about comparing apples and oranges, and I hate the idea of a theocracy where religion and state combine, because whose religion wins in the end. I ended up being a lady about it, but I said "I just don't fit in either party.", and left it at that.I'm of course aping the similar thread.
