You know.. over the past 100 years for example, massive changes must have occurred to production capacity and method.. Do humans even need to drive tractors anymore? With high yield crops, how much space is needed? Granted, I think we should probably dedicate more space to farming. I live on what is probably the best farming soil on the planet here in the midwest, but they just build houses on it.

I think there are probably inefficiencies in modern farming, something tells me that technological methods are not optimized across the planet
