The End of the World

Marco19

Hello my Sikh friends,

today i have a question if you don't mind,
it's about the end of the world, or the end of the time ... however you want to call it

anyhow, i would like to know how Sikh looks to this term,
do you believe in?
is this world in an endless circle, or it has an end?
who is coming at the end if you have it?
is GGS is going to stay as the last Guru till that time?

Thanks in advance :)

Hello My frnd Marco ,

it's about the end of the world, or the end of the time ... however you want to call it

Acc to Guru Granth sahib

ONE Creative /Destroying Power GOD is Akaal ( A (withoot ) + kaal (time ) ie beyond time .

Guru Sahib says

Āḏ sacẖ jugāḏ sacẖ.
True In The Primal Beginning. True Throughout The Ages.

Hai bẖī sacẖ Nānak hosī bẖī sacẖ. ||1||
True Here And Now. O Nanak, Forever And Ever True. ||1||

The UNSTRUCK Sound /SHABAD /TRUE WORD /one can say BIG BANG :p

CREATES -DESTROY -CREATES

here 3rd Nanak JI says

Mājẖ mėhlā 3.
Maajh, Third Mehl:

Uṯpaṯ parla▫o sabḏe hovai.
Creation and destruction happen through the Word of the Shabad.

Sabḏe hī fir opaṯ hovai.
Through the Shabad, creation happens again.

Gurmukẖ varṯai sabẖ āpe sacẖā gurmukẖ upā▫e samāvaṇi▫ā. ||1||
The Gurmukh knows that the True Lord is all-pervading. The Gurmukh understands creation and merger. ||1||

and also

Āpan kẖel āp kar ḏekẖai.
He Himself creates and beholds His own drama.

Kẖel sankocẖai ṯa▫o Nānak ekai. ||7||
He winds up the drama, and then, O Nanak, He alone remains. ||7||

that time of creation /end can't be estimated

What was that time, and what was that moment? What was that day, and what was that date?

What was that season, and what was that month, when the Universe was created?

The Pandits, the religious scholars, cannot find that time, therefore not written in the Puraanas.

That time is not known to the Qazis, who study the Koran.

The day and the date are not known to the Yogis, nor is the month or the season.

The Creator who created this creation-only He Himself knows.

is GGS is going to stay as the last Guru till that time?

Guru Granth sahib ji is beyond time ,true throughout all ages

The Word of the Guru's Bani vibrates throughout the four ages. As Truth, it teaches Truth.

Dear Marco 1890 :)...

Sikhism does not belive in the end of the world and/or Armageddon like such as of the Abrahamic religions...

I hope that might answer the question :) xxx

friend GURSIKH Thank You for answering

CREATES -DESTROY -CREATES
hmm yes it's somehow similar to Hinduism endless cycle, construct-destruct-construct ... & so on

Creation and destruction happen through the Word of the Shabad
may i know what shabad means?

Guru Granth sahib ji is beyond time ,true throughout all ages
OK, thanks for clarifying

Hi ZoyaHayat,
Sikhism does not belive in the end of the world and/or Armageddon like such as of the Abrahamic religions

thank you, actually i had the feeling that Sikh is somehow between Islam and Hinduism, therefore these terms of Abrahimic beliefs sometimes make me wonder if they are the same in Sikh, or they have there own unique explanations
