The Ethic of Shared Responsibility

PayPal is a 1000 times safer then using your CC at a restaurant. Do it!
I don't own a credit card, and I'm really uncomfortable with transferring money over the internet....would it be possible to just write a check?

I've used Paypal for the past couple of years and have never personally had a problem with either sending or receiving money. Account is dry at the moment or I'd have forked some over to the forum long ago. I have found I get a lot of hoax emails however, urging me to go through the link provided and insert all my valid information - including credit card details - into the page on the other side. I'm still not at all sure that they're a direct result of Paypal or whether they're related to the eBay ones that are the same format.
I've recently started getting similar emails that are supposedly from a bank I've never even held an account with , however, so I'm starting to think the whole hoax email is a stab in the dark that the person they send the email to is even involved with the purported sender.

I have warned thee..
There's an inherent danger every time you use a credit card - whether online or otherwise - but when you buy so much from outside your country of residence, they're dreadfully convenient things. And if you don't think twice before giving the thing to a waitress in a restaurant to take away and swipe then you're terribly complacent anyway.
