Eve was a clone.
No navel.

As for Spirit.....Someone had to be First.

Why do theists use the "look around you, it's obvious" argument, like it's supposed to mean something? I'm pretty sure we're all well aware that a world exists; we live in it.

Man is a creature that over looks the obvious.....at will.

Many of us believe in God.....for what we call obvious.

What's holding you back?

So, was a feathered animal with teeth, no wishbone and unfused tail vertebrae a bird? Just how many definitive bird features do you have to subtract before it's a non-bird?
So when God created Aurornis, was he making a bird or a feathered reptile? Or wasn't he sure?
Still waiting for your thoughts on these, Call.

I have no dogma.....and I know you have seen my repeated declaration to this.

Someone had to be First.
It stands to reason.

False. We evolved as a species, from pervious species. There never was one homo sapien ever.

That is to deny evolution and most every science department today. All because of personal bias and faith.

You act like every atheist never had a belief in God... I used to believe in God until I realized it's not so obvious, and there is in fact a ton of scientific evidence that would say otherwise.

The topic of this thread is about what should or should not be taught in schools.

Your fantasy about Eve being a clone is a prime example of the kind of thing that does not belong in a science class.

It would also mean that cloning is a-ok

His name would be Adam.

btw...I do believe in evolution.
I also believe the Creator can manipulate His creation.

I might agree to that.
Theology and science together seems for the chosen few.

And it's not my fantasy.
I didn't lay it down so many centuries ago.

And I think it remarkable a story that includes anesthesia, surgery, cloning, and genetic engineering......so many centuries before we could know such things.

I wish I had a link, but there is a video on Youtube with Neil DeGrasse Tyson discussing this issue, and probably the best point he made, that anyone can make, is us scientist don't go to your churches insisting what to be taught, so why are they trying to tell scientist what to teach? Or it went something like that.
Now if we could just get some massive movement geared towards educating the general public about science, while keeping religion and politics entirely out of the discussions, and eventually once more and more people come to realize that science and scientist aren't out to get them or silence them because they can't acknowledge religion is true (and indeed science would embrace it if it could be shown to a reliably positive correlation), and then eventually we would have less profound misunderstandings such as "species a giving birth to species b," "it's just a theory," or "it violates the second Law of Thermodynamics," or whatever misunderstanding or fabrication there is. Aferall, hardly anyone in our society actually believes the world is flat or demons cause illnesses anymore.

No Your wrong again

There was never one. Adam was taken from Mesopotamian religions where he came from dirt and was called Adamu

You have no basis pushing off mythology instead of science. Your version is even a perversion of biblical literature.

Who really cares what others believe? Is it robbing you of anything? Is it causing you bodily harm? Do you loose sleep over it? The reality may come as a surprise, but most people simply do not care. So long as theology is left to the theologians, science to the scientist, and government to the people, who cares what others believe?

Because there is a war on knowledge in the USA with our children's education on the line against religious fundamentalist who would like to posit fantasy and imagination and place it in front of our children as a explanation for origins instead of valid credible science.

If this was a religious thread I would ignore his nonsensical ramblings, but this is a science thread, where one needs more then faith to overturn what is really known.
