I was completely not serious. It was bad humor in response to the other dude saying homosapiens would evolve into homo-something else. The point being that if everyone were homosexual we would not reproduce.

I understand it is flawed -we could find a way to reproduce, yada, yada, yada -just as chickens don't cross roads for all the reasons we say they do.

Unfortunately i think its inevitable there will be a major conflict within 10 years hopefully not nuclear,i also think there will continue to be famine in Africa and Asia which is due to over population promoted by religious beliefs which has already outstripped resources.
I also think there will be more frequent natural disasters and the gap between the rich and poor will become greater and Corporations will eventually take over from Governments.

Although we Humans think we are clever we have trouble seeing whats obvious and many care more about what happens after they are dead than they care about being alive in the here and now,add to this the other Human traits such as greed etc we are heading for disaster.

Of course it could be so different but only if we wake up face reality and do something about it ,the opportunities are there through Science and technology to have a better chance of suviving for although its already too late for many other species on our planet.

Although we Humans think we are clever we have trouble seeing whats obvious and many care more about what happens after they are dead than they care about being alive in the here and now,add to this the other Human traits such as greed etc we are heading for disaster.

Science and technology cannot "solve" human nature. If we acted correctly, we could be peaceful and happy living in mud huts and thinking power to make fire was the end-all, be-all.

Science and technolgy -coupled with human nature -will soon produce the following -and it will be nuclear....

If everyone ACTUALLY adhered to the ten commandments, however -in spirit and letter -even just the ones concerning how to treat our fellow man -we'd have a lot more time and resources to devote to good uses for science and technology.

Universal adherance to ANYTHING is the heart of the problem -but man is unable to cause everyone to agree to do what is right -even if they knew exactly what was right -and would need to do so for every successive generation.
When man tries to make everyone obey something -that something is imperfect -and their attempts lead to tyranny and misery.

Universal adherance -on earth -to the principles which cause peace is scheduled -have been since before man existed -and will soon be enforced properly. There is a reason it has not happened thus far -but it will soon happen. It is, however, only in preparation for universal adherance to those principles throughout eternity.

Science and Technology may not solve the problems with Human nature but they can and do enhance our existence,for the most part Human nature is dependant on "Monkey see Monkey do" so the problem is there are not enough of the right type of Monkeys.

Well i agree there will be a conflict but hopefully it will stop short of nuclear,one things for sure though Human nature plus religion is goingto speed up the process.

The above is just an example of the religious saying the worlds going to end but it will be ok if you adhere to this or that religion,the last few thousand years show that the Abrahmic religions have been a shackle and a detriment to Humanity.
