An estimated 80,000 year old forest in Utah which is considered to be the largest single living thing with over 40,000 trees because of the interconnected roots system underground is dying due to droughts, cutting of trees and over grazing from cattle and deer. Evaluation of 72 years of serial areal photographs showed the decline of the forest as it is thinned out in time with increased human expansion cutting down trees. Another of nature's amazing gifts to our world is being lost.
