Na they wont make a trilogy of this movie. It bombed horribly. Cost was about $200 million and it made only $75 million domestically. New Line Cinemas no longer exists because this movie killed it. So have no fear, there wont be any more (unless its made by someone else, which is unlikely!)

I think the Magisterium represents the Catholic church in my opinion.

Well the Catholic League agrees with you. They saw the movie as an attack against the Church.

Plus, if you read all three books of the trilogy, the anti-organized religion message gets much clearer.

I liked it "OK", but it will not be one of my favorites.

I liked the idea of the Aletheometer. Alethea is the Greek word for "truth", and it did just that.

I saw absolutely no atheistic message in this movie.
