The good atheist

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
They are unbelievers, they are corrupt. "There is none who does good, not even one".

What is more interesting is what "good" means. Because Jesus tells us, that those that go to heaven are those that follow the will of God, which is the law and that it is the only way to get saved.

But Paul says you are saved if you just accept Jesus. Peter says that you have to follow the law.

God say that there is no one besides him that can save you. Which seems to fit with Jesus and Peter. But again, it is up for discussion, because the majority seem to follow what Paul said that you just have to accept Jesus. So it is a bit confusing.

But I think they all agree that Atheist are not getting saved :D
Personally I believe atheists can be saved :)

Well, honestly I think the majority of atheists prefer simply to be left alone. Most of us do not really like God, he does a lot of very nasty things in our opinion, and having to spend an eternity worshipping him is not really our preferred option :)

Sure, if he could just create us a planet where we could hang out, then I'm up for it :D

Does this mean that you say anyone who isn't a Christian are doomed?
That is very different to my belief

Sin makes us unclean.

We have to be cleaned to be with God.

Many never have that chance in this life. As such it is offered in the spirit world. And yes without Chest we are all doomed.

No matter the love, effort etc we cannot bridge the gap from where we are to where God is without Him.

I leave it to God to make that decision:)

Can you give me a good reason why an Atheist who never did anything wrong in life, who was a good person, helping everyone else first, before helping him/her self.
Who gave his/her money to the homeless so they could gain a better life.
Who even gave their own life selflessly to save someone else

Would not be seen by God and taken in to heaven when he/she died.
It all depends upon which God dwells behind the Pearly Gates.
There are so many, with varying values & temperaments.

Having had a Near Death Experience myself, what got me from Hell (a dark shadowy place of lost souls) to going to Heaven (highest dimensions near the Source of reality), was understanding that God is Oneness - It creates everything, and we are inside of it right now.

The Atheistic Saint's deeds would be assessed, as their character would shine righteousness in the darkness in any lower dimensions...

Yet as they neared Heaven, they'd have to have a life review of where they misplaced their trust in Source.

Many NDEs have experiences of a light at the end of a tunnel, and a life review on entering the light.

Mathematically it is like being in a computer game, and an Atheist is saying there is no Universal Central Processor; where I found in the afterlife that not accepting the Source, prevents our code from being One with it, thus we stay in dimensions further away (Hell).

In my opinion. :innocent:

No! :)

Imagine a signpost pointing the way to heaven.
Atheists say that there is no such place, so they ignore the sign.
How can they arrive at the destination then?
If the atheist didn't do any sin at all in his/her life. Why would they not be granted a place in heaven?
Not many believers can say "I never made one sin in all my life"

No, I cannot think of any good reason. I believe it will be at God's discretion who He accepts into heaven.

Sounds like most of the atheists i know give or take a bit.

One good reason is an atheist does not believe god/heaven
That also sounds like most atheists I know, give or take a few...

Why would it matter if an atheist 'believes' there is no God or heaven?
If there is a God and a heaven, the atheist could still go there.

We really are the good peeps in this world aren't we

According to many christians it just isn't going to happen, we are all going to hell for not bowing down to their god in the same manner that they bow down
And
No self respecting atheist would be seen dead in a place like that

It is a sin to ascribe partners to God, the Creator and Maintainer of the universe.
..hence it is a major sin to denounce or insult God.

Not many believers can say "I never made one sin in all my life"
True.
That reminds me of the game Monopoly.
There is a chance card that says "Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect £200.

Just as in this life, we suffer from our shortcomings, this also applies to the life hereafter.
Many believers will not "go straight to heaven", as I understand it.

This OP was mean in the way that

If God does exist, why would God not bring a more or less perfect human being in to heaven, just because that person did not believe in God?
Baha'is believe that heaven is nearness to God, so humans play a part in whether they go to heaven or not, by what they choose to believe.about God's Messenger and how they live their lives. God can bring people into heaven if He chooses to, but there is no guarantee of that. It will be entirely dependent upon God's mercy.
Probable a lot of believers are not going to heaven due to the way they lived their life accussing others of sins as an example
There is no guarantee that a believer will go to heaven, just because they believe. I believe our destination will depend upon our nearness to God and our deeds. I don't think we should ever accuse others of being sinners, for all of us are sinners to varying degrees, since all of us fall short of the Glory of God.

27: O SON OF MAN! Breathe not the sins of others so long as thou art thyself a sinner. Shouldst thou transgress this command, accursed wouldst thou be, and to this I bear witness.

all go to heaven which is actually life on earth. Hell isnt real either it just denotes bad times.
Heaven is nothing like this life on earth. Some people might believe this is heaven if they have not had many tests and difficulties, but the rest of us know better. We know that there is a much better place we go to after leaving this world behind.

I believe that hell is the bad times on earth but it might also be the bad times we experience after we die and leave this earth.

I would hope life in heaven is better than this human life....
If you are a Baha'i, you do not have to hope it is better because you know it will be better. ;)

“O My servants! Sorrow not if, in these days and on this earthly plane, things contrary to your wishes have been ordained and manifested by God, for days of blissful joy, of heavenly delight, are assuredly in store for you. Worlds, holy and spiritually glorious, will be unveiled to your eyes. You are destined by Him, in this world and hereafter, to partake of their benefits, to share in their joys, and to obtain a portion of their sustaining grace. To each and every one of them you will, no doubt, attain.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 329
