Gen. 1 places the creation of humanity on day 6. Gen. 2 doesn't specify different days. According to that account, humanity was created "in the day" the earth was created. Two accounts; two theological perspectives.

Dear sojourner, Here is the chronology. Adam is made physically the 3rd Day. Gen 2:4-7 It was after the Earth was made Gen 1:9-10 but BEFORE the plants Grew on the 3rd Day. Gen 1:12

The sons of God (prehistoric mankind) was created and brought forth from the water (Science calls this a Natural origin) on the 5th Day, Gen 1:21

The beasts of the Earth and birds were made at the beginning of the 6th Day and some 15-20k years ago, Jesus made Eve from Adam's rib. Gen 2:22

On the SAME 6th Day, God "created" Adam and Eve in His Image or in Christ Spiritually. Gen 1:27 and Gen 5:1-2 Like ALL men Adam was first made physically and later Spiritually and Eternally.

1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is Spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is Spiritual.

To be "created" by God (the Trinity) is to be born again Forever, to be made Immortal, in Christ. It's the definition of a Christian. Rom 8:9 God Bless you.

Dear sohourner, Over time, Godless Evols troll their devotion of the False Theory of Evolution so much, that they are limited in carrying on a real conversation. Usually, they hide and try to fool the newbies who arrive here with their foolish devotion of preaching that Humans are nothing but Apes. They certainly don't post ANY evidence which supports this False worship of Science, bur instead, rely on Bluff and Phony Science, which is nothing but their own personal opinions backed by nothing but willing Ignorance.

I beleive you are in error since that is the gospel of Paul. I Cor 15:1 ¶ Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand,

1 Cor. isn't a gospel. It's an epistle. Here's the gospel message -- according to the (gospel) scriptures: "Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God, and saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.'” That's the gospel message from Mark 1:14-15.

Beware of yourself, then. You haven't shown anything scripturally.

I believe you are in error on that since the gospel of Paul is found right there in the first verse of the epistle. I believe your reference is to the fact that someone has categorized the writings as "gospels" or "epistles" but that only partially descibes the content. Romans is an epistle but it is also systematic theology and a Christian apology.

I believe there are many but this is certainly a gospel of Jesus according to Mark and most likely the central message of Christianity even though the church tends to center on the gospel of Paul.

Dear sojourner, The gospel of kingdom, which you speak of, was REJECTED by the Jews. Don't you remember? IF Jesus had been accepted as their Messiah, He wouldn't have had to die. Would HE?

You have confused the good news to the JEWS, who rejected it, with the death for our sins, burial, and resurrection the third day, according to the Scriptures,of Jesus Christ, which is the ONLY Gospel. Scripture WARNS us of those who teach "another Gospel".

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

To be accursed is to be excommunicated from the Church. it's Anathama for Christians. Why don't you know that? Are you in a group which has been accursed? God Bless you.

I don't believe I saw any confusion in his post but simply an expanation of what the gospel of Jesus truly is according to scripture.

I believe the first Corinthians text does not say "only" so that is totally conjecture on your part.

If Paul had said "I" instead of "we" one might think of the gosple of Jesus as another gospel but I believe the "we" can include the gospel of Jesus. So this may not be an idea of an exclusive gospel of Paul but an inclusive collection that is an overall gospel. (The fact that "we" is used pretty much guarantees a collection that is the gospel)

BTW are you willing to categorize the gospel of Jesus as a non-Christian gospel. I would think that to be anti-Christ if you did.
