The Great Deception of Christianity - Departing the Faith (the Word)

Unfortunately this is what happens for practically all Christians. They are immersed in the Christian doctrines and Pauline teachings long before they actually visit the Tanakh. These teachings are repeated over and over to them, until their minds are saturated the core. By the time they get around to actually studying the Tanakh, they are quite incapable of seeing anything other than through the lens of Christian teaching -- even their scholars, who you might hope would do better, but no. It is a simple lesson in the strength that indoctrination has over objectivity.

True.. Christians aren't very honest..

For me I believe what you have written here is nothing more than a distraction to truth. Those who accept the Messiah believe and follow all the scriptures of Moses, the prophets, JESUS and the Apostles of the old and new testament.

We believe that both the old testament scriptures and the new testament scriptures are the two great witnesses that point to Jesus as the Messiah. The shadows of the old are revealed in the new. The Old testament scriptures point forward to the Messiah while the new testament scripture point back to the Messiah.

All of God's people are saved in the same way although the process was different. Those before the Messiah looked forward to the promises of God's Word through faith and those who live after look back. I believe that many however who were given the oracles of God did not know that the very Messiah they were claiming to wait for was the very one they crucified.
Your post is the perfect illustration of the very thing I was discussing.

I've noticed you do this a lot. Rather than come up with your own original objection, you just parrot mine back at me. Serious lack of imagination.
Well please be honest my friend. That has no truth in it what so ever. We have been down this path before have we not? Did you have something to share in relation to the OP here? :)

Oh, I'm not saying that Christians don't understand Christianity. Im saying they don't understand the Tanakh (OT).
Does anyone understand God or His message completely in any way that all can know that understanding is real?

I appreciate that you have knowledge and experience I do not and I would not claim to understand better than you do based on belief in my own superioiry.

So as a "christian" you are saying that those Jews who did not accept Jesus as the "Messiah" despite having the very oracles of God that testified of the Messiah have it right and "christians" have it all wrong in your view and the JEWS were right to crucify JESUS who in their view was a false Messiah? o_O

It is like you want to say something else, but lack the courage to say it.

Have courage my friend. Just tell us that only those that believe exactly as you do are the true chosen of God. You can do it. Clearly you want to. I know the truth will hurt us, but we will find a way to get on.

All the best. I love you.

The true Christian, understands all things:

1Jn_2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Yet, those who refuse the real Jesus, do not yet know what they ought to know:

2Co 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
2Co 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
2Co 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
2Co 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Perhaps you may need to change your name tag from "christian" my dear friend to Jew if that is your belief. I do not judge you. I believe it is God's Word that we accept or reject that will be our judge come judgement day *JOHN 12:47-48. I only wish you well :)

is this one of those "gotcha moments" where you put words in my mouth that I did not say to trap me with them? Is that something a real Christian would do? It must be. Since you are doing it.

Do you feel this is the way God wants you to handle criticism of your personal opinion of the Bible

So a true Christian knows the mind of God? Thanks for letting me in on that.

Does God tell you to swamp your audience with giant posts full of a half dozen multi-hour videos and profuse with logical fallacies as His message?

No need to be upset my friend. I am only asking you questions for clarification. You have not answered any or do I understand the points of your posting here which is why I have asked you questions in the first place. Anyhow perhaps God is calling you if you feel it is a gothcha moment. I will leave that between you and God as that was not the intent or purpose of my posting. I only wish you well.

By all accounts related here I should humble myself to a couple of true messengers speaking for God.

We can know God's mind through His Word. If we do not know God's Word we can never know God's mind. I believe if we reject God's Word we reject God and he will reject us according to the scriptures. We cannot know God or his Word if we reject the scriptures and do not seek God prayerfully through them. Yet God promises to be our guide and teacher if we ask him.

I am sorry if my posts upset you or were too difficult to understand. I can try to simplify them. Just let me know what you are having trouble with understanding. Try taking deep breaths. It can slow an excited pulse.

... Im saying they don't understand the Tanakh (OT).
And what I have stated to you in so many words, is, is that you which claim "Judaism", do not even practice what its written in the TaNaKh regarding real 'Judaism', since 'you' are missing the Temple, The Ark of the Covenant, the High Priest, and so many other things. What 'you' do, is actually practice Rabbincal Talmudism with Kabbalism mixed in - all controlled by the Jesuits of course these days, especially what goes on in 'Jerusalem'. It has nothing to do with real OT worship or practice of JEHOVAH Elohiym in the least. Most of today's 'Judaism' is nothing of what existed 2,000 years ago, let alone 3,500 years ago. Even the peoples are not the same lineage, as today it is a vast majority of Ashkenazic and Sephardic races, along with a mixture of so many others. The waving of chickens over the head, the wearing of the ridiculous swaths of black on black hats, and the goldie-locks sideburns and shaved heads, along with rocking back and forth like the insane at the 'bricks', and the wearing of boxes and twines (teffilin, phylacteries), skull caps (yarmulkes), and a thousand other vanities, even within the so-called 'feast keepings' (added alcohol, etc), cursings of the time prophecies, as in Daniel, etc.

But reject "Truth":

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

... and all that is left is that which is error (which 'you' attempt to pass off as truth).
