The hypocrite is created.

WHY WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE, DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES ?
To one he shows one face, to another he shows another face. One goes on changing faces. You watch, and you will see how you go on changing faces, different masks every moment......then you start pretending: the hypocrite is created.

From the front door you pretend to be nice.
From the back door you are not.
from the front door, you don't talk to somebody who is unpopular.
But from the back door, you talk to him.
From the front door, you will pretend to be a saint.
From the back door, you are as much a sinner as anybody else.
From the front door, you wear a different face when dealing with people of importance.
From the back door, you change your face and mask when talking to a beggar.
THIS IS WHAT IS CREATING SCHIZOPHRENIA IN THE WHOLE HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS.

I work hard to be angry & contrary all the time....but it takes so much effort.
So at times I become a hypocrite by making nice.
Sue me.

Er... I'd just like to point out that adapting your behavior to various circumstances is vital for the survival of any social animal, and particularly for humans. Calling this adaptation "hypocrisy" is overdoing it just a little.

If you see yourself as a hypocrite, it is entirely your call. People imagine themselves as they are interacting, when they are. It seems, in this 'unreal' situation, people want to know, how disagreeable they are, when they want to be, to others, and the less they are, the better it seems to them. Or, if they feel that the effect of great unpleasantness on their part to others, isn't really unpleasant, or harmful, to themselves they see a real positive advantage.

Me Myself

Back to my username
I am who I am all the time.

"Who I am" may very well change form situation to situation and people to people. it would be hypocrite of me to say it doesnt, but en again, I have never said it.

If you ask me what I think about something(or someone) be prepared though, you will very well hear the truth.

I am too old to mess with hypocracy...
I am antisocial enough to say what I think in most situations ...or shut up.
On this forum I tend to just say what I think... this is not always popular, and some think I am attacking them or their country.

Sometimes I am............................

I try to act the same way inside and outside. I just talk more inside because I'm shy.
This is interesting. Would you commit murder, to empathize with a person who has taken a life, like a soldier, for instance, and other people, or would you not commit murder, and at best, empathize with people without meeting them, if at all? It seems, people can empathize with themselves, but not with others, and this is why people very easily want the interaction that they have, around here, on Earth. It seems, everyone wants to be an authority, so they challenge authority. No one wants to keep their privacy, and those of others. They must be an authority, to ask others to follow them. That is why, in democracies, we are constantly making conversations about our leaders, with others, to make us feel not good, and we feel that this is acceptable. We wouldn't go up to a Senator, and insult him, or a parliamentarian, but we can even engage in conversation where we can say anything we want. Who wants to be a Govt. Servant?

I would respond, but I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about. :sorry1: How did you get that out what I said?

Interesting. You sound like a psychologist, perhaps clinical, who doesn't want to exercise the mind, about my thought, when you encourage others to, by choice of profession, and also in a non professional interpersonal manner, generally.
