The Ignorance of Atheistic Denial of God

Not an argument for anything, actually, my poor wording at the end. More a way of trying to describe an atheist perspective to a non-atheist in an understandable rather than combative way.

Greetings of Peace. You have carried out your intention very effectively. I was about to thank you for presenting your position in a very sober and straightforward manner. I will try to revisit the subject with some observations of my own later tonight.

In Peace,

Atheistically
You can still have a sense of 'something greater'... greater than me the puny human is the world, the galaxy, the universe. When reading about cosmology, physics, quantum mechanics and nature in general, I feel small and insignificant yet connected as part of this world, and full of awe at everything. This is a sense of 'something greater', but it doesn't have to be a God-character.

Imagination is great, no one is saying to stop that or spirituality.

Its the fanaticism and the fundamentalism some religions breed/require that is the enemy of the world right now.

Puny human? size becomes meaningless on universal scale doesn't it ;)
There is a cool youtube vid if you get a chance how small is small

I'll believe in god when it arrives at my pub and has a beer with me.

The kitchen sponge is 200,000 times dirtier than a toilet seat - and could even lead to PARALYSIS | Daily Mail Online

Considering there is up to 200,000 x the amount germs on your average dish cloth than there is on an toilet seat, i will drop the seat as long as i never have to wash the dishes again.

That being said i drop the lid for treks. Even though she says i do not have to.
It's more about the shock of falling into the bowl unexpectedly during a groggy midnight pee than about germs, at least for me. Maybe Treks is OK with turning the lights on and doing a dummy check first. Me, I prefer to pee in the dark.

Any more then I want to stop and see if the seat is up.
