LOL! The personal/collective dichotomy is part of the illusion. Is Maya considered to be a purely personal illusion (fabrication?), or can it have a collective dimension, like a shared illusion?
Within the dream things change. Once fully awake this illusion dissipates, and one experiences infinite, timeless changelessness. So everything is in a state of perpetual change, including our own mind?
I've been trying to work out who or what is observing these things.
No, they are not, they are an abomination if you do not remember Allah and his Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa salaam) every moment of your life. No beautification of the body for men or women. There are umpteen fatāwā all over the world and internet on that. Do you comb your hair? What is the need? You could spend that time in remembering Allah and probably gain his mercy.
But it is ridiculous from my point of view to make a sculpture or draw sculptures and worship him
It is the religion of freedom because it frees me from worshiping the earth and what it is in. and frees me from worshiping the sun and what is around it
those are accepted in islam
games, music, , films, poetry, novels, stories.
forbidden in buhhdasim and Judaism (alcohol)
Perhaps for you and me, but they are looking for their sojourn in Allah's heaven.

There are layered, subjective "realities." "US" is just a manifestation of maya. Once the illusion is transcended; once we wake from this dream, we find there is only a single, unified consciousness that exists.
Talking of things ridiculous, trying to touch or kiss a broken stone, or throwing stones at pillars also is ridiculous. But it is ridiculous from my point of view to make a sculpture or draw sculptures and worship him
Bismillah does not really fit in here. If you were to say that, it should have been said first. They will never know they didn’t get there.
Bismillah.
That was in the beginning of 16th Century (I am referring to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu), inconceivable. Now we know better. Points of energy.Self and other are as separate as up and down.
Acintya bedaabeda tattva - inconceivably the same and different being.

You are right. Perhaps it is a wave. Perhaps it is both (in various perspectives). What is a point is a wave, and what is a wave is a point. In conceivable.
Yes, just like the centre(eye) of a cyclone.Indeed. It's like there is a stillness beneath the movement, a different kind of knowing... Or something! Fascinating stuff.
There are other things as well. Giving a divine status to a book (compiled so many years later when all other versions were destroyed) also is not very wise. Then, you have to take it for granted.Except for this... the worship of a piece of rock.
Clearly the brain does mediate consciousness, but it doesn't necessarily follow that the brain creates consciousness, any more than a radio creates its broadcasts. This is rejected by materialists/objectivists who state that consciousness is a brain function.
Yes, just like the centre(eye) of a cyclone.
That is precisely why it is not the religion of freedom.
The only freedom available to you is to be what you are, where you are, while you are.
You are enslaved by ritual and hating the only world you have to live in.
Don’t tell me about “the divine world” beyond death. Absolutely unverifiable nonsense.
From my research and experience, the legend of a ‘divine world’ has its origins in real experiences under the influence of various mind altering substances found all over the world.
Some scholarship can prove that easily.
