Frubals for the mechanism. The problem solution in the book said for everybody to move to twice the room which would give the result you specified The answer then would be that you end up in room 2.

Hahah! Studying calculus does have a purpose :p You could get any room number you wanted though, yeah, if you just have everyone after that move down one?
