20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

To me it says we should not be looking for Jesus to come back number one.
Number 2 The kIngdom of heaven is within you.

We are all I am the I am, we are all saviors! The power is within us!!!!!!!!! So when Jesus said I am the I am, it was a reference to the Kingdom!!!!!!!!!IMOHO!

Having grown up around farm animals, and seen and read a little bit about breeding, it seems plausible that part of what Jesus did was to participate in genetic alterations to humans? I have no idea what sort of mechanism might have been used, and I am most certainly not stating that copulation was part of it.

Many of us wait to see the direct intervention of God in a very visible and unmistakable way. By doing that, we can avoid taking responsibility for the consequences of our own actions. People can live their messed up lives, never having to face their own issues and Godlessness. Introspection can be painful and leave one feeling like a failure, and it may have a purpose beyond what we can perceive?

We can walk through life while not trying to educate ourselves to what God expects of us. We can want mercy, but not be merciful. We can want Justice but not be just. We can choose to want a new refrigerator, a better boyfriend, a hot car, or some adolescent video game, rather than truly worship God.

Perhaps the Kingdom of Heaven is within us but it is our choice to live there or not.

It is the potential that is within us. We were created in God's image, not as Gods.

We can choose to see it like a lamp.

We are the body of the lamp, but we need fuel and fire to light the wick. The Fuel is Gods Messengers, the fire is acceptance of their Message. That is what allows us to light our lamp and release the potential within us.

The good in us is from God and it is reflected only to the extent we polish the glass from the soot of his world.

Oh so your B'ahai? I would interpret that as we make our own heaven and our own hell.Quite different then Christian physical literal hell where are physical bodys in the physical level literally physically experience hell fire for eternity.

If your speaking of a spiritual hell where we cut our own selves off from God then yes its possible...........

Jesus said that He had finished the work that God gave Him to do and He was no more in the world and He was going to the Father. This indicates that Jesus never planned to return (I am no more in the world) and there was no need to return since He finished the work God gave Him to do.

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Then in the next chapter you have these verses:

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

These two verses completely negate that Jesus is the King of this world, or that Jesus will ever come to this world to rule it, and they fit perfectly together with John 17:4 and John 17:11. Jesus came into this world to bear witness unto the truth. He did that so there is no more reason for Jesus to be IN this world again. That is why Jesus said “I am no more in the world.”

Please notice and read who Jesus was talking to at Luke 17:20-21 but talking to the hate-filled enemy Pharisees.
The kingdom coming without observation ( verse 20 B ) is in connection to Luke 17:28-29.
At verses 28-29 because as with Sodom and Gomorrah the end came by ' surprise '.
Also, please read what is ' inside ' of a person according to Jesus at Mark 7:20-23.

It is Not until ' after ' Jesus is done talking to the Pharisees that at the next verse Luke 17:22 that Jesus addresses his disciples.
If we continue reading to Luke 19:11-15 where Jesus is talking to his disciples that the kingdom would Not immediately or instantly come or appear.
Jesus, as the nobleman, would first have to go away to a ' far country ' (heaven) before he would later return.
That is why we are all still invited to pray the invitation of Revelation 22:20 for Jesus to come !

If there is No hell ( biblical hell that is ) then how could dead Jesus go to hell as per Acts of the Apostles 2:27.
There is No religious-myth hell of fire. That false hell is just taught as being Scripture but is Not Scripture.
The Bible's hell is just mankind's temporary stone-cold grave for the sleeping dead.
Jesus believed the dead ' sleep in death ' according to John 11:11-14.
So, while dead Jesus was in biblical hell he was in a sleep-like state.
For the 'dead know nothing' according to Ecclesiastes 9:5.
Noting but ' sleep ' as per Psalms 115:17; Psalms 146:4; Isaiah 38:18.

Jesus taught what is ' within ' a person at Mark 7:20-23
