One place that definitely loses is the Guitar Center in Visalia for not having any fretless bass guitars.
Some parts of CA are backward.

Unfortunately, fretless bass guitars aren't that common. Myself, the only reason I have a bass that is white is because it's a five string fretless, and that kind of bass is get it now or not at all.

Frets are good for making odd buzzy sounds and making your slides sound choppy.
Go argue that with all the musicians playing instruments with frets.
Just my quality of winning is poor.
