It can't be friendly. You, me, we are on a diet to lose weight. There might exist friendly tetrazzini but it doesn't taste like this!
I've actually entered a much harder weight jungle where beasts roam. It's called maintaining the weight loss.

The relationship between my scale and I is OK but perhaps entering a tricky phase. Today the batteries died so tomorrow I'll check and see if it still likes me or is a bit distant. In the later case, I'll need to reassure the scale that I still love it but not unconditionally, of course.

I like to weigh myself in the morning, naked, after I "go", and before I have anything to drink and I am doing pretty good it seems.

I used to do that when I was just a little nipper.
We'd sometimes get these huge ice storms, & we could
skate on ice which formed on top of the snow on hills.
I broke thru a lot.
Better was making a sail, & skating downwind on roads.
