Yes, but dogs have us beat. They can eat their own crap. Its an astonishing feat. It's not so much sleeping ability but the miracle of getting through openings smaller than their heads.
no muppets were used or abused in the making of this win

Singing murderous thoughts away with:
It's a big wide wonderful world you live in
When you're in love you're a master
Of all your survey you're a gay Santa Claus
There's a brave new star-spangled sky above you
When you're in love you're a hero
A Nero a Poirot a Wizard of Oz
You've a kingdom power and glory the old old oldest of stories
Here's new true you'll build your Rome in just one day
Life is mystic a mid-summer's night you live in
A Turkish delight you're in heaven
It's swell when you're really in love
It's swell when you're really in love
Of course I expect the cost of living is higher here although maybe not as high as in the SF Bay Area.I win because the pay in California is way so much better than it is in Indiana that I make 50 cents more on the hour to count inventory here than what I made to do case management with kids in Indiana.
Rent is definitely higher, and gas is higher, but everything else is pretty much the same or not that much more. Some of the junk items cost a wee bit more, and then the CRV thingy is added on, but food, internet, electricity, and even vaping all cost the same. It's to the point that even though overall the cost of living is higher, wages are so much better and taxes so much less burdensome (I'll have to make around $30,000/year to a similar rate that I had in Indiana) that I'm definitely coming out ahead. Unless fast food was a staple of my diet, that is, because outside of the dollar menu items fast food is I've noticed at many places is about $1 more per item. And it's still pretty much the same game and food items and price for eating cheap (which really says a lot because it's been since about before the recession when I've had to deliberately eat cheap - though I'm not sure exactly what this says other than a very big "WTF is going on here?" that prices today in California for some things match what they were in Indiana over 10 years ago).Of course I expect the cost of living is higher here although maybe not as high as in the SF Bay Area.
I'm nearing the point where I'm about to stop and pet the dogs along my walks. There are even a few pits that I didn't immediately reach my hand out to, but they are getting used to seeing me and starting to approach the fence in a more curious and friendly way. And there is also a full blooded German Rottweiler that I must simply become acquainted with.Win with this:

I always liked playing catch.
