I had a winning walk today. I doubt I could ever run a marathon with my knees, but I can almost walk one.
I ran a marathon once.

My oldest runs them darn 5Ks and mini marathons all the time.....I get a call one Friday...."I've been sick all week...this is the first day I felt good enough to get out of bed and go to class"...he did not sound well either
next statement...."I have a couple 5Ks to run this weekend" I say, "are you sure your well enough to do that, don't you think you better take it easy"...."Nah, I'll be fine by then" (at that time less than 24 hours away)
Dang kid went and ran one on Saturday and one on Sunday and came in among the top 10 on one day and the top 5 the other
