I had a winning walk home from work last night as I was accompanied by a husky for most of it. She has unfortunately been abandoned, and is a bit of an older gal with enough hip arthritis she hikes her leg instead of squatting, she hasn't been brushed or bathed in awhile and her fur is the only reason she doesn't look bony. But she's very friendly, very gorgeous, and after a couple minutes I was already getting nervous seeing her on the road with on coming traffic (she does seem pretty smart about watching traffic though). And it felt really good to pet a dog after not having pet one in awhile (plus her fur helped warm my hands up).
I was going to feed her my left over spaghetti (not the best for a dog but all I have at the moment) but I think she found some food at the high school down the road because that was last I saw her.

I was also ready to let the dog in my house, even sleep in my bed with me. But the apartment has a 40 pound limit for pets, and I don't think I'd be able to keep her secret and hidden for long.
I also wish she would have made back home with me so I could have fed her, because I was looking forward to the company if she came back later for some more food.
