My mom's TomTom did that to me. When I was driving in LA, I was taking a girl to some college. I didn't know where it was, but I could see the sign to the right, and google told me "your destination is to the left." Which pretty much proves if google is a god it's the dumbest god ever because the LA metro area in general is not the place to be giving bad directions in. Or maybe god was just trying to kill us?

Sometimes it's just the signs. In San Jose, I was trying to drive North to get back to the East Bay but the road sign heading south said "north" because the road was about to turn North toward SF.
