I have to write that I'm utterly not surprised that you would choose to feature a character who is so obviously revolting.

Well that version was awful...the only thing I liked about it was Captain Picard...that was until I realized the Starship Enterprise was NOT going to vaporize then all.... and all the other assorted variation of Dune on film were awful too

They just keep on trying. With Dune it might work. What went wrong with The Mummy remake was that people were satisfied with the original. I still don't feel curious to see the remake.

If Isaac Asimov had written Dune then Frank Herbert would've written the Foundation series which would have ruined the Foundation series. Still, the Foundation series could have used a little more spice.
