I'm not sure what's worse - canine diarrhea or the pundits on TV with diarrhea of the mouth. They just keep talking and talking and talking.

I sometimes wonder what it's like to live with a TV commentator.
I turned on CSPAN because I suspected other network talking heads would not shut up no matter what was going on. Doing that was a winning thing to do because I heard what even Fox lauded as a great speech by Michelle Obama with no interruptions for commentary.

Oh, if you're back in Indiana, did you attend the
30th annual Hoosier Flywheeler show?
No. Amd fortunately I leave will be leaving this land of nosey ********, chiny chin chins, naked *****es, and people who aren't respecting my requests they back up amd stay away. Confederate flags, red neck hicks, people with staring problems, racists and white supremacists galore, amd the food widely and mostly sucks (apparently they were hit by meat shortages way harder here than we were in California (no surprise there)), and it is so nasty here with humidity.
After this trip I doubt I ever come back. It gets more and more miserable for me everytime, and even one of my friends has went so ape**** nuttery crazy she is now of the sort to believe Kamala Harris is "radical left," and shes going on about the same sort of dementia rubbish and will obviously die in office that Liberals say about Trump.

Perhaps you made the mistake of engaging in vigorous
political discussions with Hoosiers. I know better. But
still, I work to gently ease them into the 21st century,
helping them become as progressive as I am.
But I've also lived in Californiastan....perhaps you too
will get to know its seamier side. No paradise it is.

It's always them who bring it up. To the point I doubt I visit one friend because her boyfriend (apart from being a brainless covid denier) keeps bringing it up. Nothing at in a discussion related to politics and the Hoosier ***** will go on about how I'm a liberal and support liberal policy ruining America.
My dad is also pretty bad. I make sure to tell him every time he thinks I should he thankful for Trump that Trump has assaulted the rights of his daughter (he doesn't like me being trans and has not once acknowledged it). Mom told me to stop bringing it up, and I don't think she realizes Hoosiers seem to think I have a neon target on my back.

You're still young, & learning how to cope with being pigeon
holed as this or that. The first thing to do is confuse them
about your politics, ie, to these conservatives, deny being a
liberal. This forces them to address your stance on issues.
Then pick issues showing that you're even more anti-big
government than they are.

They'll soon be eating out of your hand.
(Be sure to wash it afterwards.)
With practice, you'll become formidable against these neurotypicals.

That only works for people who aren't wearing the Blinders of 1,000 Lies. Like the aforementioned douche who still kept insisting Im a liberal and support things I don't even after taking an approach similar to you mentioned. Beginning on civil and polite grounds, with my needle for patience getting lower and lower each time he repeated his internalized Glen Beck record that's scratched and stuck repeating itself. No matter what I say, no matter the point, I've ran into a ton of people here who just don't care or listen, amd it's hyperpartisan bs on fullblast from the time they first open their mouth.
In California the very typical case is neutrality and mutual agreement after I say something like how I dont like anyone with an R or D attached to their name or it would be easier for me to say who I like than the ones I don't like.

We have a lot of that here in AZ, although there are some cities and areas which don't really reflect the rest of the state's reputation for far-right politics. Here in Tucson, there's a Democratic majority and it's kind of an island of blue in a red state. Doesn't Indiana have any places like that?

Yes and no. Conservative Democrats reign in some places that are pro-Union (tends to be that way in KKKokomo) (the Dem senator Joseph Donnelly was anti-LGBT when elected). Fort Wayne and Indianapolis are blue, but they can and have conflicted over state law (such as Pence's RFRA).
Overall, Klandiana has little redeeming value, and it's mostly nature that offers anything decent and good, as the food here sucks as do most of the people.

So you've gone off Indiana then., is there any particular reason for that?

I get it that to you FDR, Eisenhower, Reagan, Trump, Obama and Mussolini are all the same and that they are all narcissistic criminals. Not to me.

Chill, to much literary license in that response… never mentioned any of those people in any post I ever made on RF, never hinted at, inferred or included any of those names…..and Mussolini, seriously. It is an attempt to get an emotional response and garner supporters for your argument, and disrepute my post, based on an emotional response, not logical, all by throwing in a historical villain. Word of advice, go with Hitler next time, more people know him and more are incensed by the name than Mussolini. But ultimately it shows you have no real argument to make and you are hoping to make me angry so I will not think and answer logically.

So, let me clarify this for you in order to stop this type of silliness. Never said, mentioned or implied that Eisenhower, Reagan, Trump, Obama and Mussolini were all the same. But using those, to produce an emotional response (which stops actual thinking by the way) is exactly what politicians are doing today to widen the division. Biden had a speech recently, that although based on a real event, was loaded with much embellishment, and literary license that did not actually happen...torches...in daylight...really...., but it did create the emotional response he was after to widen toe divide .... although, IMO, he did it by standing on the coffin of the young woman who died in that event. Trump does the same by the way. Create division, fear, worry, and you get people to stop thinking because they are afraid. That is what throwing in names like Mussolini does as well, Hitler even more so (Also recently heard “Brown Shirts” that works to for creating that emotional response, for your future reference).

However, starting with Bill Clinton, the lines blur. (probably did before, I just was not paying attention) and currently they are all pretty much a pack of liars that have little to no concern for you, me or the country, beyond the vote they need for office. Everything else is simply their wallet and their power. Don't like or trust Trump, don't like or trust Biden or any other current politician on the political stage in the USA today. I work with a bunch of politicians, and they are all the same. political affiliation makes no difference. Was there to hear one answer the question "what if they don't vote for what we want" response "we'll tell them they did"

Look into the views of folks like Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Jackson, or any other of the first few presidents on things political and things political parties (especially Washington on political parties) Read the Constitution and think about how much Republicans and Democrats are actually following it in Washington these days. Look into Ben Franklin’s vies of a republic….and allow me to end with…. I do believe Mussolini would be proud of your post count and your blitzkrieg of @Revoltingiest post count

Visiting friends and family and helping my parents move to California.
The visiting part hasn't happened much because so many people just aren't acting responsibly. If this state wasmt so rural and sparsely populated it would be absolutely ****ed (and absolutely nothing less than that).
