Buzz saws are safer & more fun.
And he's so old that he guest starred in a Betty BoopHe can say what he wants, we all know @Wu Wei is a teddy bear.
Advantages...Nah, a friend used one, not as flexible and difficult ro carve smiley faces in the wood
Advantages...
- That big wicked looking blade singing away.
- Easier to operate than a chain saw.
- Bigger than a chain saw.
- Really old school...full of class.
- Safer (no kickback.
- Made in Ameristan by real heterosexual cigar smoking burly
manly men whose women bake pies & drive tractors.
Disadvantages...
- Not useful for killing zombies.
- Less portable.
- More dangerous.
- Spendier.
I have both buzz saw & chain saws.Easier? Perhaps not
Bigger, size isn't everything (and it wasn't me who said that)
Old, you like old, but i see no class
Safer. My friend lost part of his finger to his. Me, i have not (yet) sustained any damage from a chain saw. Modern chainsaws handle kickback very well.
Made by macho men. Is that an advantage?
Zombies, correct but hardly worth worrying about
Portable, true, you never see them slung over someone's back when heading to the forest.
More dangerous. See safer.
Who needs spendier
A bench saw has its uses in a wood yard, i see no other advantages
