We call that "ice" here in Revoltistan.
"Rain" is used to describe liquid precipitation.
It was a heavy rain, as opposed to a sparse gentle shower or a bit of spittle which we usually get.
We never get heavy water in our rain here
(in any measurable concentration).

I find it interesting that a woman may commit sexual violence
(assault on genitals) against men in response to speech she
finds offensive. Yet were the gender rolls swapped, it would
be entirely unacceptable. Such is feminism.
