I got my 2018 refund from the IRS yesterday.
I'm hoping for 2019 sometime soon.
Soon is a weasel word.
In this case it's a prediction of occurrence of an event in time.

I haven't gotten a refund from Uncle Sam in years.
Last year was the first time I got any sort of refund, and it was from the state. But the refund was less than what I owed.
And I got a paper stimulus check because the IRS didn't have my stuff for a direct deposit then.
