Dogs have it simple. Just pop a special dog treat in their mouth for it, then they get a hug from someone in a lab coat and they're on their way.
Pry the mouth open, hope that the dog is forgiving the indignity and does not bite, and so forth.

No, no no. There is no "good night." The night is wonderful, and the moon doesn't abuse me like the sun does, but sleep is a losing thing that steals and wastes life.
