I have never had fish poached in milk. But I have a loving familiarity with pie buried in ice cream.

Are there herbs and spices in the milk or just milk?

I have what seems to be an natural aversion to fish and milk products together. Though, I am willing to put that to a test.

As I write this, it occurs to me to wonder if I have tested it without realizing.
