Morning chores done win.
Lunch done win.
Kids are out playing win.
Car retrieved win.
Relax for a while win.

It's always a winner to complete daily chores, especially when it's school holidays.

Broccoli and Roquefort soup with fresh baked bread, a winning lunch.

Getting the kids outside to play and relaxing without chaos is always a win

And the car... Went out yesterday morning heading south. On my return the narrow road was blocked at the far end of the village. Several days of roof maintenance work including a cherry picker taking up the width of the road.
I parked up an wove my way through the construction workers vehicles, scaffolding and cherry picker to walk home.

Wound my way back to the car this morning and took a 25km ride over the Dordogne to the next bridge so i could get my car home on the other road...

Rural living is such fun.

They are much better shots than I ever was.
My offhand (standing) was bad.
But prone, sitting, & kneeling...on a good
day I could beat anyone in the state.
