Random thought... the previous government got us in 880 billion dollars of debt to keep the economy going during the pandemic. Why didn't they just give everyone a million dollars, that would have kept the economy running and only cost 26 million.

You can't do that! People might do rational things with their money then, like pay off debts, invest wisely for retirement, give to charity, and so on...:confused:o_O:mad::eek::(:oops::rolleyes:
