To an American mechanic those are Allen wrenches, not screwdrivers. Screwdrivers come in slotted and Philips.. and they are ambidextrous. There is no right handed or left handed or metric

Allen wrenched however do come in standard or metric...however right handed or left handed would be a bit silly IMO
What about square drive? In woodworking those are fantastic. At one point I had suppliers that still used slotted screws, in hard rock maple of all things, most used Phillip's head, and one or two used square drive. Working on an item with a slotted screw in hard rock maple will cause all sorts of fun words to come out of one's mouth.

its called a square drive.... and there are Torx too
