Have fires been in the history of where you live?

Yeah, fairly regular occurrence. Nothing as bad as that one though, I was standing in the back yard with a garden hose watching a wall of flame come at me. A massive jet dumped fire retardant about 100 metres behind the back fence and stopped it so we will never know if a moron with a garden hose can stop a firestorm,

Is there news of the fire being retained in some way.....?

That was the jet that saved my life, not a very good pic.

This was looking down the street after they stopped it.

This was the local footy field a couple of days later, they were refuelling the choppers there that were putting out spot fires.

First mistake I ever made......thought you were posting about today.

Nah, no chance of fire at the moment. We've had so much rain the last 12 months nothing can burn.

I thought when I said I'd sold the ute a couple of years ago it would be a hint it wasn't today lol
