Sorry to hear that. So, still recovering then. Best of luck on that. I hope it was nothing more serious, but whiplash is serious enough.

It's not too bad, just a bit sore and sorry in the morning, once I get moving it's ok. The inconvenience of working with the insurance company is the worst part, have to use their recommended repairers and the earliest it can be fixed is February. I'm not sure how they are "recommended" if you have to use them. Fortunately it's still drivable.

Well, best wished and good luck with it all.

I don't think their definition of recommended is the one that the rest of us use.

February? They could build you a new vehicle from scratch in less time than that.

I was ready to commit mayhem on the ****ers blowing them off last night. One of my fantasies was taking a garden hose and hosing them down.

That's something that i (and the pets) don't miss about England. Here you need a license to set off fireworks so the only time we ever hear them is July 14th and the last day of the village fête.

Planning to make some big charitable donations before year's end.
("Big" for an uneployed groundskeeper, that is.)

It's interesting to think that many of those being born now will very likely see the year 2100.

I can't even imagine what the world will look like by then.
