For give me if my quick perusal might miss
disagreement somewhere, but I'll say....

First, assume that the Libertarian Party will never
achieve power. It will have at most...influence.
I agree that everything in the platform should be
the direction that our 2-party system tends towards.
This would vary in degree, depending upon each issue.

An area that might concern you is social services.
I favor better than we have. This isn't because we
owe each other this largesse, but because it enhances
political stability. It also offers a high benefit to cost
ratio for the populace.

This is already far too much exposition for
this particular forum. So it's all you'll get.
But for @Wu Wei....

Was it as fun as it sounds?

It wasn't too bad, as many prawns and oysters as you could eat as well as plenty of other stuff. She's a lovely lady and one of her daughters did a splendid job with the food. I just hate the pretending to be friendly socialising part but Karen enjoys being the centre of attention social butterfly so that should keep her happy for a couple of months.

I suspect I'm much more pro-necessary government than you are, but activist government is a two-edged sword as we're seeing now in various states.
