And it is cool and raining here AND I have another gigantic black locust tree limb down next to my driveway

After a few dismally stormy days it's been hot and sticky here, 34c (93f) with 70% humidity

The storms have brought down a few trees but none in the village, and caused a few floods

Moody trees drop limbs.
Be nice to your trees

The trees have a great life living among all their friends in the forest. Unfortunately a few old and feeble trees can sometimes succumb to heavy weather

I am not going out on a limb when I say I am firmly behind trees. If you don't like them, you can leave.

I have nothing against trees, but they seem to have something against me. One fell and barley missed me about 50 years ago and one jumped me about 30 years ago... and another missed me by about 10 feet about a year ago.... and now this thing hanging in my driveway...just WAITING for me to walk close

Perhaps they don't like your back scratching

I did do that along with other low lifes. But the result is that I have wonderful farmer's market blueberries, single-origin artisanal dark chocolate goodies and other goodies. This is truly an IRL win.

Yeah right, good, fresh, healthy, just picked food is every day normal here. And so many chocolate artisans around it's sometimes difficult to choose. That's a real win

Winning by finding out how to turn off that Google automatically added that I speak spanish because I happened to click on some videos. And I turned off allowing Google to decide I speak languages I don't speak.

It may sound crazy, but I like nut trees.

You'll like it around here. walnut trees grow wild and are also cultivated.

There are walnut farms, walnut shops, factories that shell and pack walnuts, they even have a walnut museum.

My favourite cake is date and walnut loaf

We have abundant walnut trees in Revoltistan.
They're the last to leaf out, & the first to drop
their leaves. And the walnuts become like
ball bearings, making for difficult walking.
