Looks like processed ham to me
Many years ago they would take real cuts of beef and roast them and then use that roast beef to make sandwiches. Then some fiend somewhere invented "meat glue:

With it you can glue together all sorts of scrap meat. Whether they are pieces that would normally be too small to be of use, to meat that is still on the bone and is mechanically removed. If you see a slice of their beef it is all sorts of little pieces glued together. When they were real roast beef sandwiches they were probably the most expensive fast food joint. With "roasts" made of glued together meat they were able to compete with McDonalds and the like. Trust me, it is not as good, but it is probably less than half the price that it used to be.

I'm going to win in spite of 2 hours in the morning with a root plane cleaning in 1/2 of my mouth followed this afternoon with an hour of acupuncture needles sticking out of various limbs. Life does not get much better than this.

Winning with the finishing of the root planing of my teeth. The hygenist liked the look of my gums on the half she did earlier.
