I had an armadillo die on my patio one time. It was a big mess.

No Armadillos around here.... Did one find a headless critter next to my deck..... but I don't want to say what it was so I don't upset @Dan From Smithville

If I did not see the occasional live one, I would almost think that dead on the road is their natural state. They can dig like crazy, but they've got a lot of work to do to catch up with us on the highways.

That was an interesting discovery when I first read about it. It is a disease I know very little about beyond church. And that I don't want it.
