I hit one once. It was late at night. The dog was black. It came out of no where. I slowed down as quick as I could and it would have made it, but at the yellow line it suddenly turned back. I had to find a place to turn around so I could find out if it was dead or wounded. I couldn't bear the idea that it might be laying there in pain. It was dead. Where I was when it was hit, there were no houses to know who the owner might be.

I think the saddest song I know is "Something I Can Never Have" by Nine Inch Nails. I can't listen to it.
It is interesting to me that when I paused the video, the three alternative offerings that popped up included Breadfan by Budgie.
I just went out and bought ice cream!
