I have only heard of one reported sighting... my dad saw a rattlesnake on a trail once. They mutually decided he oughta go back the other way.
A friend spotted a timber rattlesnake sunning on exposed bedrock in one of the parks I like to hike in. The only rattlesnakes I've seen in the wild are a pygmy rattlesnake and a small timber rattlesnake that were both found dead in different parts of Missouri.

I've had red bellied black snakes, diamond pythons and green tree snakes in the backyard.

We've talked about the red bellied black snakes, but I am unfamiliar with the other two. The web says that the green tree snakes are non-venomous. A rarity?

I know pythons are non-venomous.
