This is very true. I think my husband only said "Hello" or something else really innocuous. But it didn't matter. He could have said "The sky is falling" and I wouldn't have cared.
It sounds like you found something that many of us travel an entire life not finding. Something it sounds like you rightly cherish. I'm not jealous, but a bit envious.

Well, he is dead now so don't be too envious!
All things pass. It is the in between that matters. By your accounts it sounds like an in between that really mattered.

I know that envy is a synonym of jealousy, but I see jealousy as the selfish, greedy and destructive of the two. Not only wanting what another has but the avarice to wish the denial of it to the person that actually has it. Envy to me is recognition that another found something I would like, but one of my own and not theirs so that we both know the pleasure of it.

Under Penal Code § 32900 PC, California law makes it illegal to use, possess, manufacture or give away bump stocks. Also called multiburst trigger activators, bump stocks are gun accessories that increase the rate at which semiautomatic rifles fire.
It was a JOKE oh literal one.

It really did matter and my life overall is much better because of him.
In my mind, that is the best thing a person can do for another. And clearly it reaches beyond loss. Sounds like your husband would have been well worth knowing. I'm sorry for your loss, but can't help admiring him for a job well done.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

Thank you. He was a terrific husband for me, absolutely perfect for me. Thanks for the walk down memory lane! I still get notes and that sort of thing from people who worked with him over the years, which is great. I've even gotten old photos!
