That was a really nice winning phone call. I spend at least an hour a day on the phone to brother in law. Over the last 3 months each day he has been down and getting noticeably more paranoid and miserable by the week. It's been hard, and my own health problems haven't helped.
Anyway, he started off with the usual depressing downer of this morning but rather than a half hour rant it was a few minutes and then the call got better. I won't tell whats happened for him today but he ended with the sentence "Im surprised how very good today has been, chat tomorrow sis."
That sentence had such a winning effect on me, I welled up and weapt.
