Yes they are...until later.... then the high school kids start showing up......then I shut off the lights and stop
I went trick or treating for the last time in high school.

We got some annoyed adults, but what the guy I was with and I were doing was periodically finding a lone kid, telling he or she that they'd won the best costume award, and emptying our bags into theirs.

That was a really good time. Lots of happy kids.

Last time I did any Trick or Treating was in 7th grade. I did however go to a costume party in my biker days..... and I showed dress normally, carrying a baseball bat..... I was me, with a bat...... anyone had any problems with my costume and I would show them why I brought the bat

I'll show him that when he wakes up.

Someone in the neighborhood put out political signs asking people to pencil in his dog and cat.

He had something clever written on them... can't remember what it was.
My feelings about politics are not unique. But some have a much more humorous take.

I have gotten that, but only mild cases. I could walk, but I tended to list to one side or the other
It was the most unpleasant symptom. Laying on my side was no problem. Rolling on my back and suddenly the room was spinning. Then the dry heaving.

Most of my memory of vertigo was from overindulgence. This was the same without any of the preceding fun.
