I really want to try it. How do you make it?
Mine was simple. Honey, tap water, bakers yeast, 16 ounce Coke bottles, gauze squares and rubber bands to hold them on the bottles.

I didn't really research the proportions of honey to water and didn't have a choice of the honey either. But put the water, honey and yeast together, mix a bit and pour into the bottles. Cover the openings with the gauze or you could use chees cloth and fasten with the rubber bands. Let it sit for several weeks. It probably had some alcohol in it, but it couldn't have been much. I'm sure there are better ways to do it.

I have tried making mayo but it split and was more disgusting than usual. Who the heck thought of mixing eggs and oil anyway!
I've always been sort of curious about that too. Of course, there are a lot of things like that and they make me wonder. Hominy is one of those things. How was the process discovered?
