To start with I woke up at 1am after 1 1/2 hours of sleep and took a melatonin at 2am to get back to sleep. Then there's another round with the contractor under way. Then of course there's the free flowing sewage around the world which is getting PhD (piled higher and deeper). Also my right knee is a bit marginal and I hope it calms down rather than drags me to the doc.

Is this enough? :(

Rent must be paid.
That's the theory. In practice? I once owned a duplex (upper/lower actually) and had a tenant who did not pay. I gave him the option of working it off - the house needed painting. Finally one of our cats went into his place because he left the door open and ate his bird who was not caged. In a sense, the rent was paid.

There's a special place in Hell for tenants who don't honor
their obligation to pay rent, & to respect the property.
