Unbelievable! I hope the trip was fun for you never-the-less. Usually, 100 miles can be done in two hours. 500 miles straight through is ten hours. In the rain, much more I think.

Yeah, I average 50 MPH at best.
But the trip was good.....
Got meself a 1845-1850ish lathe.
It's 16' long, & had to down go thru a 4'x8' hole in the 2nd floor
It went more quickly than I expected (5 hours) cuz another old guy showed up to help.
