"How Ya Gonna Keep 'em Down on the Farm (After They've Seen Paree?)" is a World War I song that rose to popularity after the war had ended. The lyrics highlight concern that American soldiers from rural environments would not want to return to farm life after experiencing the European city life and culture of Paris during World War I.

Stupid, idiot, dumb Discount Tire mechanic eighth assed the brake inspection and a week later the master cylinder is making itself known as shot the hell up and going into brake failure. Of course I am not happy, I have cursed this mechanic many times, and I am rather angry over this situation.

Oh, now I getit.... the metric system is just a way to SOUND impressive, to make folks think you actually had to work for it...... 27KM......sheesh....16 miles.....whoopy doopy

Yup but consider the roads are not built for American cars, they have lots of bends (sharp curves) that most American cars (and drivers) just can't handle.

Wait, sports fans!......there's a flag on the field.......they just penalized that ringer bear for foul language.....15 yards for the "whoopy doopy" that insulted @ChristineM.....( a very sensitive British import)....Just aside note: @ChristineM has been accused by the American Embassy of slandering American motorists.

That's only because europeans don't know how to drive American cars

... It seems Americans don't know how to on European roads either. Those bendy bits confuse them.

I heard a story of some American roads on which the only "curve" is the curvature of the earth.
