I'm having a full morning but the forecast is for things to calm down this afternoon after I meet with the contractor after texting him all the problems that they've generated such as the schmutz on the pool deck.

I have pretty claw foot tub, but its a little small.

I've not had a bath for 9 years, getting pretty stinky...

Actually that's wrong, when i go to the UK, wherever i go (if they have one) i ask. "After that airport hustle i need a bath, do you mind?"

By the way, winning with boomer skills 9 Life Skills Boomers Know That Younger Generations Are Clueless About
  1. Basic plumbing fixes
  2. Jump starting a car

  5. Reading a paper map

  7. Financial competency
  8. In-person communication

Of course this is somewhat of a stereotype but it's still true for many. And there's a lot more

I've (we've) taught mine all of them, thought the garden is a courtyard and plant pots, and the youngest is not old enough for a car yet.

I can't do 1. 2 is something I shout for Sam or my local friend for. I think I'm okay with 7? I don't have a lot to be competent about... just don't spend more than you bring in seems like the best way to go... I cannot do 9, but Sam can. Our local friend taught him to do so(and she's 10 years younger than me).

The insurance company is trying to blackmail me into installing smart sensors. We paid about $2,000 last year but they're going to bump it up to $6,000 this year if we don't have the sensors. I didn't know what a smart sensor was until I got the letter.

I'd look for another insurance company, blackmail is not the way to do business
