The last post is the WINNER!

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Sitting in eye doctor's office. Not winning.
TRUE STORY TIME:
The last time I went to the eye doctor, he did nothing at all for me, even though I said "I am clearly blind as a bat." So I was complaining about this to my son, who told me, "Mom, go someplace where they HAVE to sell you some glasses!" So an optometrist rather than an ophthalmologist and that makes so much sense! My eyes are individually fine but not cumulatively, if that makes sense. They aren't' matched up, so I can see fine close up in one eye and far away in the other eye. Seems like it should work but it really doesn't in some cases. Weirdly, it's fine when I'm driving but I get tripped up at home. I really don't enjoy it very much though I do love not wearing glasses all the time. Really, any of the time. So I'm not really sure about following my son's advice.

Me: I need to take that clock back, it works for a while then starts flashing random numbers
Karen: Did you read the instructions
Me: Yes
Karen: What's it doing?
Me: Flashing random numbers
Karen: What does that mean?
Me: (As I put the batteries back in) I'll show you
Karen: Take it back
Me: I said I was
Karen: Then why did you put the batteries back in?
Me:
